Hello...i finally have a house, computer, internet, phone and address...so i will be keeping the updates comming! Today was All Saints Day and the world in Italy is at rest...it was great to have a day to do absolutely nothing.
These past few weeks have been crazy with doctors appointments, exploring rome, and getting our life together, (especially on Italian time) :)
The highlight: weather is amazing and i found a beautiful black sand beach an hour out of town!

it is my hope that everything is going well for all of you. unbeknownst to most people, they don't make pizza in italy (it's actually an italio-canadian thing), but they have many other very good cuisine. at least that's what luigi told me. well, but there is the leaning tower and maybe that's something.
did you go to some churches and see great art? have you traveled to the rural parts, like florence or tuscany? watch out for the autoban! james bond drives 200 miles per hour on it. have you tasted wine, olives, grapes? when in rome do as the romans do, rent a scooter and go see the coliseum.
things have been like a whirlwind in the rainy month of november here in lotusland, but we are managing to cope with it, while other parts of the country are buried in snow and cold. boo-hoo!
so cheers to you and many healthy kisses, hugs and misses...
from both myself and chloe

canada misses you!
hi Luk
You are so right, we have been into many of the amazing, incredible churches and never stop looking up at the ceilings. We love the olives, wine and cheese.
A wonderful new friend Pamela gave us a beautiful little Ford Fiesta. When Ja gets a couple of days between appointments we hope to make a little trip to Lucca where Pancho has a good friend.
Driving and parking a car in Rome is definitely an experience.
The sun shines almost everyday here so that keeps our spirits up,and now we know why the Romans moved here...:)
Ciao bello...
